Sunday Studios workshops are for everyone — not just artists or people with a creative background. The workshops are open to anyone who enjoys creativity, wants to learn something new or is simply looking for a way to meet like-minded people offline. Whether you're a complete beginner, a hobby creator, a professional looking for a mental reset, or someone who just wants a fun evening out in Cologne, Sunday Studios is for you. No artistic experience is required, and no prior knowledge is needed. Just bring your curiosity.
Absolutely — meeting new people is one of the core intentions behind Sunday Studios. Community and connection are built into the experience from the ground up. Many of our workshops are specifically designed to encourage conversation, collaboration and shared creativity among participants who may not know each other yet. Whether you come alone or with friends, you'll leave having made something with your hands and, quite possibly, having made some new connections too. Sunday Studios is as much a social space as it is a creative one.
No — Sunday Studios is not only for artists. The studio is designed for anyone who wants to create something with their hands, try something new or simply spend time away from screens in a welcoming environment. You don't need to be an artist, have any creative training or even consider yourself a creative person to enjoy Sunday Studios. In fact, many of our workshops are specifically designed for people who have never done anything like this before. Creativity is for everyone, and Sunday Studios exists to prove it.
What makes Sunday Studios different is the philosophy at its core: we've consumed enough — it's time to create. In a world dominated by passive scrolling and digital entertainment, Sunday Studios was built as a deliberate alternative. The focus is not just on learning a craft, but on meaningful experiences that encourage real creativity, genuine human connection and time spent fully present in the moment. Sunday Studios is not a typical art class — it's a community-led creative space where the process matters more than the outcome, and where every visit leaves you with something you made yourself and people you've genuinely connected with.
